Can I mute my internet browser?

There are websites that have advertisements that make noise. It's getting really annoying. Is there any way I can make it so my internet is muted, but the rest of my computer can make noise? I have firefox

  1. No, you can only mute ALL sound coming out of the speakers.


  2. mute all sounds. make sure to enable pop up blocker to stop those pages from opening and making noises
