Can I name my business "*common word* industries? for example, "tennis industries?"?

Although the word "tennis" may be un-trademarkable, or previously trademarked (for the sake of argument), Can I incorporate a company with the name "tennis industries" for example? Does it depend on the word? what about something like "ping-pong industries"?

  1. you can name your business what ever you want, as long as

    it hasn't already been used.  or if it is named after a big corporation like, spalding, sears, most tennis companies

    have a trade mark on theirs, meaning it has a patent and is licensed.
