  1. It probably won't be an issue. They rate these cables at the BARE MINIMUM that they would possibly work. 10m is an estimate for the worst case scenario. If you were trying to run say...50m that might be an issue, but extending an extra 2 shouldnt be a big deal (unless your house has lots of interference. If it does maybe try some shielded cable instead) Either way I think you will be ok. I saw a link already posted for a 15m cable which should work fine.
