Can I order products into B&Q if my local store doesn't carry it?

I want to buy something I've seen online, but the nearest store with them in stock is 1 hour drive away. If I go into my local store, will they order them in especially for me to pick up?

  1. yes you can,its called IBST,[inter branch stock transfer]they can get it delivered to your home[for a price, bit expensive though]or better to pick it up yourself.normally within 24hrs.

  2. If it is ranged within B&Q you can order it.

  3. yes

  4. They ought to - I've been b4 and they'd order anything in their entire product line. It's a sale for them afterall.

Generally DIY stores cluster together, so if B&Q don't play ball, mention Homebase or Wickes or whatever ... the mark-ups are so high you ought to haggle for anything which you're paying for.
