Can I overclock my HP laptop with Intel core 2 duo t5450?

I have an HP dv6775 with an Intel core 2 duo t5450 processor running at 1.66 GHz. Can I overclock? If so how much would it help? How much could I overclock? And how do I go about doing it? Thank A lot!

Most laptops can't overclock. On normal speeds, the CPU runs hot already. Overclocking would most likely void your warranty, and kill your laptop. It's not a desktop where the BIOS is free to tweak and you have good cooling>
