    The egg however does not travel up through the tube in order to be fertilized and is absorbed by the body instead.

    In the rare event that the tubes become untied and healed together again, a woman can become pregnant with a very high risk of ectopic pregnancy.

    But seriously, if your tubes are tied, you will still ovulate, but the eggs will be unable to travel down into your uterus and will eventually be re-absorbed by your body.  If you had already ovulated at the time your tubes were tied and the egg had already passed the location they ligated the tubes, you could still get pregnant that one time.

  6. Yes. Your egg will just not have anywhere to go ...if the procedure was done correctly...and hopefully neither will the sperm..
