  1.  I have a back injury with titanium.   What most people don't understand is that a car seat hurts more than a motorcycle with a backrest.  Why?  Because every car seat slopes backwards putting pressure on the lower spine.  And because I am very tall, if I use a pillow to raise up than my head hits the ceiling and in order to drive I have to bend some and that hurts.  The motorcycle on the other hand has lower back support (after market addition), I can sit totally upright and the hands on the handle bars also take off of pressure.  Also my thighs are level on a motorcycle whereas on a car they are up and that puts pressure on the lower spine.  In addition, using brakes, accelerator or clutch on car causes much more leg movement which also causes more pain.  The bike has full foot stands so if I see any thing in the road (small bump, bigger bump or any kind of manhole cover I can post up (like riding a horse).   I am a veteran rider.  Very unfortunate that everybody equates riding a motorcycle as better for back injury than a car.  They are dead wrong!!!!
