I know that I'd need to either buy glow in the dark paint or glow in the dark powder and a clear paint to mix it in with, but what I'm asking is is this legal? I would buy a paint that lasts a few hours. So is it legal to paint your house glow in the dark or not?

  1. it's legal. there's no conflicting policy about that... it's just like a house full of lights...unless you have an ordinance in city/town that prohibits glow in the dark houses...you could try calling at your city administrator's office to know the exact rulling about that... but as far as i know and from my common understanding about that i think there wouldn't be a conflict...c glow in the dark house? that would be cool..

  2. I dont think there is any rules about what colour/type paint you can use, so if I was you... I'd be out there painting the whole d**n house. That idea sounds pretty rad too haha!

  3. Please tell me you don't live in Oklahoma!!!

  4. Not sure about the legality of a glow in the dark house. Sounds like a fun idea though. If you own the home, I am pretty sure you can do whatever you want. If you are a part of a Home owner's association, I would definitely check with them first. You may also want to check with your city hall to see if there are any local laws about this. If, you go through with it, link some pictures!! :)

  5. I don't believe there are any laws about this one, however, I would consider contacting your local city council and verifying that there are no little codes in your area.  I have heard of people having to remove items from their property that was creating an "eyesore".

Have you checked with your neighbors on this one?  They may not like the idea as much as you do??
