Can I paint with oil paint on my wall?

I'm repainting my room soon, from yellow to grey-blue. Before I paint with primer and do my coats of blue-grey, can I paint a picture in oil paint on my wall? Will it make the primer not work when I paint? Will it change the colour in that area when I paint?

you should primer all of your wall first. once you paint with an oil base paint you will not be able to paint with a water base paint over it. the water base will not stick to the oil base paint.
