I think so.  But if you're going to do that, I would go to somewhere like Planned Parenthood.  They base your fees off of a sliding scale depending on how much you make.

Yes.  Most doctors require you to pay for services when you check in, whether or not you have insurance.  If your in a bind and can't pay all of it at one time, discuss a payment plan.  They usually are quite flexible on this subject.

I would also recommend going to Planned Parenthood.  They charge on a sliding scale based on your income, it will be alot cheaper than a GYN.  I use go before I got medical insurance for my paps and BC pills
