Hello All!

I have the following problem: I am in the US for a first time and I got a ticket for speeding (Your regulations differ from ours in Europe, anyway) The traffic warden told me that I have to pay my fine in 30 days or I will get arrested!! BAD! Since I don't want this to happen, I want to pay my ticket, but I am entirely unaware of the procedures here. Please help me out!

Thank you in advance!

  1. Yes, you can go here http://www.dmv.org/traffic-tickets.php to see if you can. You choose your state and then just follow the steps from the bottom of the page and it will help you through the whole process. If you live in the state of California you can go here http://www.sftc.org/browser_pages/Traffi... or if you live in the state of Virginia you can go here http://www.courts.state.va.us/caseinfo/t...

  2. yes the ticket should have the County's Clerck information on it. Or simply go the the state's highway patrol/state police website and put in your info and pay it !

  3. Every court has different rules. However, luckily for you the procedures on how to pay the ticket are printed right on the back of the ticket. Flip it over and read.
