Can I pick up the radio program coasttocoastam with a short wave radio?

I heard that a shortwave radio can pick up different radio stations around the world. Coasttocoastam is the most listened to program in the world so I was wondering if using a shortwave radio would help me pick it up from the big island of hawaii. Iam not familiar with what a shortwave radio is or what exactly it can do.

But as that program isn't broadcast on the VOA it is unlikely that it will be found on the shortwave bands.

Your best bet would be satelite radio or a web stream.
