Can I place Pari-mutuel wagers and horsetrack bets on indian horse races?

horse races were brought to India by the British colonial masters, I want to know, is it possible to place Pari-mutuel wagers and horsetrack bets on indian horse races. Please help me know, as I am desirous to place bets on indian horse races.

As a legacy of its time as a British colony, Indians love horse racing. Pari-mutuel wagers and horsetrack racing were brought to India in the time of the British Raj, likely as late in the period as 1935. In that year, someone called the Keeper of the Indian Stud Book is found registering thoroughbreds. Indians appear to love racing stallions.

The chief horsetracks where horse betting is allowed are Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Mysore, Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai and Kolkata, i.e. Calcutta.
