  1. No, it will shrink, you need to buy the durell system if you don't have time to take it to get dry cleaned. Dry cleaned only means, no water.

  2. Your best bet is to get it dry cleaned by a reputable cleaner.  If you are dead set on cleaning it yourself, you could fill a clean kitchen sink or large wash tub, etc. with cold water and a little Woolite (find it in the laundry detergent section of the grocery store). Be sure the Woolite is all dissolved in the water first. Then just dunk it up and down like a tea bag a few times and press gently. Rinse in cold clear water a cpl times till you see no soap bubbles in the water. Again, be very gentle with it.  DO NOT ringe it out! Gently squeeze it and lay it out on thick towels on a flat water proof surface and let it dry naturally (not in the sun!). It is wool and shrinks easily. It will take awhile to dry it. It will be wrinkled.   Please reconsider a dry cleaners.

  3. As a last resort, you could try using Woolite, on cold/slow cycle. No dryer- it would for sure shrink it and ruin it.

  4. NO...!

Most suit jacket has multiple layers.  Not only will the surface be wrinkled, different parts of the jacket and different layers of jacket will shrink at different rate.  Not only will ironing will not take care of it, but it will permanently dis-figure the jacket.  In short, you will not be able to wear it again.

    Don't do it!

  5. YEP ITS JUST GOING TO BE WRINKLED

  6. The worst that can happen is that it will get discolored at worst of all it will shrink and you will lose a suit jacket.  Don't risk it, take it to the cleaners.

  7. The worst that can happen is that you will never be able to wear the jacket again. Depending on what it is made of, it will shrink, it will come out all misshapen, or it will felt. There is a reason the label says dry clean only.

  8. I've washed dry clean only items under the gentle cycle with cold water, and they turned out fine.  I don't want to tell you that and have something happen to your suit jacket, though.  There's also Dryel.  You put it in a bag, toss it in the dryer, and VIOLA`!

EDIT!!!  After reading these...maybe don't listen to me!

  9. Whats the material? wool No way synthetics probably on gentle with woolite u will have to be careful of padding bunching up and no dryer
