Can I plant vegetables inside my home during the whole year? ?

It's August and I want to plant potatoes, cabbage, and herbs inside my home in large pots. Will the plants grow?

  1. Yes as long as there is sunlight, water, and it doesnt get to cold they will grow year around


  2. I am planning the same thing..I've bought florecent grow lights ( 2 ) and heat pads I plan to put up a mini tent around the whole stand so the temp can be controlled better too - - smaller area.

    Maybe some of this you should think about...

    Oh and don't bring any plants from the outside to the inside..grow from seed only or you could get infested with insects .. even fungi or microbes...

  4. Sure, they will grow well if you provide the right combination of light, water and temperature.

    You may want to consider investing in a couple of "Grow Lamps" to provide the correct light spectrum.
