Can I play Minor League games in NHL 2K8 for PS2?

In NHL 2K8 for PS2, in Franchise Mode in the Front Office menu you can change settings and the minor league team etc. and I was wondering whether I could play the games, but when I enter the Minor League schedule I can't play any? Can I?

  1. No but I believe you can in NHL 08.  I know you can play multiplayer (possibly only exhibition) with AHL, IIHF, Eliteserien, and National teams.
