  2. no but there is a freeware program called frets on fire or FOF that lets you do exactly that and also there is like every single song you can download and tons of awesome mods

    also my brother found a program that lets you use your wiimote on your mac so he hooked up our wii guitar hero threee controller and bam we can play FOF with the wii guitar hero controller
