Question:

Can I play my ipod through my car stereo?

I have a Ford Focus 2003 with a Visteon 6000NE stereo. I want to play my ipod through it but not using an FM transmitter. There is no AUX input in the back just a blue BUS slot. I don't really want to buy a £100 ipod connector, I was hoping just to use an AUX in lead.

i think you'd have to buy a part from ford but what your looking for is explained in the site.

  2. at best buy they have a ipod FM transmitter for $20...idk where you live...but thats what i have :]

  3. I got an ipod/mp3 adapter from ebay for £50, it fits to your stock stereo at the back.

Although the prices are more on the website, keep an eye out on ebay.

  4. Well the only choice you have if you dont want to spend £100 on a lead or use a FM transmitter is to buy a new stereo with an aux lead or direct ipod connection
