Can I play tennis in college?

This is my last year of high school and I signed up to play tennis but I was told I couldn't because I needed and EKG in order to play and my mom made the earliest possible appointment which isn't until september 24.

I don't want to go pro or anything, I just want to play.

yes, If you're playing in HS then you should be able to play in college too

Get the EKG done, find out the results and if given the okay, go for it!  I took tennis as a class in college myself -- didn't help me, but that's another story!
