Can I play video games on a JVC HDTV?

My grandpa wants to get a wii and play it on his JVC HDTV, but he didn't know if it would mess up his tv or not. He doesn't know how to use a computer (go figure) so i promised I would find out for him, but so far I found nuttin. Does anybody else know wether or not it is ok to play video games on the TV?

I have a JVC HDTV and it is a piece of ****.  Whenever you try to play a game on it all it says is:  NO PROGRAM one thousand times.  I would suggest a different TV if you actually want to PLAY the games, but to answer your question... Video games won't harm it.

I wouldn't see why not. Video game consoles have several options to connect to your tv...they are pretty universal these days.
