  1. -4(2 - 3(2x - 1)) + 5 = -3(-7 - 2x) - 4x

    -4(2 - 6x - 3) + 5 = 21 + 6x - 4x

    -8 + 24x + 12 + 5 = 21 + 2x

    24x + 12 + 5 - 8 = 21 + 2x

    24x + 9 = 21 + 2x

    24x - 2x = 21 - 9

    22x = 12

    x = 12/ 2

    x = 6/11

    ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯

  2. -4(2-3(2x-1))+5 = -3(-7 - 2x)-4x

    -4(2-6x+3)+5=-3(-(7+2x))-4x

    -4(5-6x)+5=3(7+2x)-4x

    -20+24x+5=21+6x-4x

    24x-15=21+2x

    22x=36

    x=(36/22)

  3. Seriously man; help them like the first person to answer the question, but don't do their homework for them.  They'll never learn anything that way.

  4. PEMDAS. That should help. P(Parentheses)E(exponants)M(Mulitplicati... What this is is order of operations. So if you have (4+3)2(7-3)=______ You would do Paretheses first so 4+5 =9 7-3= 4. So now its 9x2x4=72. Use that to figure out your problem.
