Can I plug my xbox 360 into my PC surround sound card?

I have a normal desktop PC and a Hercules Gamemuse 5.1 surround sound card and sub woofer. I think the sub woofer has an s-video input on it.

  1. No subwoofer would have a S-video connect... its mutually exclusive.

    the 360 has an optical 5.1 output... your card would need a optical input jack. I was running mine for awhile with just the stero outputs used as I never found a card with an optical-in. both of mine cards are optical out.
