Can I pop my own ganglion?.......?

Question

the ganglion on my wrist is driving me mad, its so painful. I don't have my hospital appointment until 8th Sept and people can telling me I could easily do it myself by just boiling a pin to sterilise it and then pierce the top of the ganglion to drain it, then apply tcp and put a plaster over. Do you think this would work? I know all the hospital do is a very similar thing really.

i suggest not i have one too and im 12 and it does drive you mad with how much pressure and weight you can put on it but dont try to pop it your self just be wise and not do it go to your local doctor and get them to deal with it percides it really is safer that way
