Can I post a resume without showing my current employer's name in the resume?

Will the prospective employer even review such a resume with out specific employer name in the current employment paragraph ? How could I post my resume so that it is anonymous.

  1. Yes, you can definitely post a resume and conceal the name of your current employer.  If your resume attracts attention, you can tell the recruiter the name of your employer on the phone or during the interview, warning them to not contact your employer as you are still working there.

    Monster.com makes it easy to post a resume without your company name and without your name or full address.  I'm sure that other job boards work the same way and allow anonymous posting.  


  2. You can leave it out but they can ask you for a reference from your current employer if they don't see it and want it.  

  3. yes you can.   they will have to rely upon other past employeers for references.
