I am 29 weeks pregnant. 3 punk teens broke into my home but my husband scared them away. The cops found them 10 minutes later. Can I press charges on them & punish the parents? If Scott had already left for work, I would have been in danger. I truly fear for the safety of mine & my baby's life. I wants those punk kids to truly understand what kind of fear they put me through. I am now scare to be home alone.

  1. Get a shot gun with bird shot to protect yourself. It will hurt or kill a person up close, but will not easily go through a wall where your child may be. If you wait for the police to protect you, then it will be to late. You have to protect yourself and your baby.

  2. Technically, no.  Only investigators and county attorneys decide to whether to press charges or not.  You did the right thing by calling the police and getting them arrested.  If there is enough evidence against them, it will be charged out.

  3. Since they are kids, most likely nothing.

Be sent home to mommy for warm milk.

    I feel for you.

If someone breaks into my home, they are leaving in a body bag!

My lawyer and I then would deal with it.

My wife would have been in fear for her life as would have I!

Now all you cops and or bleeding hearts can tell me how wrong I would be.

  4. Yes! If you can positively identify them then do it. If you don"t they will do it again. After you press charges, call the DA's office and tell them about your terrible experience so they know the facts before hand.
