If I prune them now or in fall will it still bloom next year? When is the best time to prune them? Before the flowers fall off? Right after? Or now when they are not blooming at all?

  1. Prune after flowering.  Gardenias set next season's buds after blooming.  If you prune in the fall or before bloom, you're cutting off the flowers.

  2. You can cut bushes off at anytime.  Most would perfer to have the flowers bloom and then die and cut them off.

  3. you should prune after flowering in the spring when their are few buds and leaves begin to grow very fast

  4. My daughter has one and it seems that the more she cuts it the more it grows and blooms.
