I moved into an apartment recently and I noticed the smell of cigarette smoke. I quickly realized that the smell is coming from the air vents of the central air system and the smoke is coming from another tenant in my building. Is there anything I can put in my air vents to filter out this smoke, mostly I just want the odor gone?

  1. they make a air filter that will catch the smoke odor or animal odors before it goes through the vents the filter is 9.99 at home depot i use it for our animal odors. it is a filter that you cut to fit the size i use 1 in the air return and 1 in top of my regular filter...............if you find that you still smell cigarette smoke try buying some lava rocks at the home depot they are 6.99 a bag and they also help eliminate the remaining odors 1 bag does 600 feet and if you are finding that they quit working place the bag in the sun to rejuvinate them .....................i swear by both of these products i used to hate coming home to an animal filled house..i have 6 dogs 9 cats and 3 birds all in the house...........the lava rocks are located in the cleaning supply isle
