Can I put a fuel door alarm on my car with a remote pager?

I live in S CA and of course they keep siphoning my gas. 7 times in the past 3 weeks. It is getting rediculous.

Thought about putting a remote motion sensor under car. It is in "secured" parking so I think it is a tenant here and would like to catch the thieves in action, not to confront, I am the president of the HOA and want them evicted.

Locking the gas cap or putting an alarm on, may solve your problems or they may start poking a hole in your gas tank and letting it run out into a dish pan.  Crooks are lazy and they don't care if you have to fix your gas tank or not, so siphoning is less damage to your car, it may not be worth the damage to stop the siphoning?

Why not get a locking gas cap?
