My favorite band has a gydget on their myspace. Is there any way I can get that onto my yahoo!360 page?

  1. UPDATE: LOL....okay. Well, good luck.

Depends on the object. You'll have to find out if the gydget has a sharing or embedding option. So, you may have to click on buttons on the gydget OR find the site that the gydget came from. The object has to be an HTML or Flash-based.

Then, you can try to embed the gydget in your Y!360 blog area as follows:

    - Select the EMBED code you want to copy, then right-click to select "Copy." Use the most general version of the codes available or the "MySpace" version. See what works.

    - Compose a new blog entry

    - Check the "View HTML Source" box that's on the upper right corner of your entry's toolbar, position your cursor and right-click to choose "Paste."

    - Uncheck the box to get back to the regular blog screen.

    - Save the entry. The object may not show up until you do so.

WARNING: Do not save your entry with out adding some text. Now, it's entirely possible that even with doing the above, the widget/object will not work. Simply, not all codes - even certain flash embed ones - will not work in 360.
