I have seen people install locks on the side of a fridge. We recently found out our yard man has been helping himself to all of my beer and giving it to his helper. He steals out of our fridge. What kind of lock can I put on there to keep him out?!

  1. you need to get rid of him  If he steals beer when you lock the refer maybe he steals stuff a thief is a thief.

  2. First, check with your husband, or any adults in the household.  Did anyone tell the yard man to help themselves to beer?  I assume not, but just make sure it isn't a misunderstanding.

You need to get a different yard service, and tell the present workers why you are letting them go.  Don't give warning, just give a call before their scheduled day, and settle your bill.

If they can't be trusted to respect your food, who knows what else they might take from the house?  Coins lying around?  Gold earrings?  A credit card?

  3. Hasp & padlock, just like a shed. If you don't want to drill the fridge, use "No More Nails" or whatever it's called where you are. Basically a thick & powerful glue.  Then make sure he can't unplug it out of spite . . .

  4. Just buy a small chain and padlock and put around the freezer handle and the refrigerator handle or empty the beer into an ice chest and hide it or just buy cheap beer and a real beer drinker won't drink it anyway.Good luck.
