Can I put a shortcut button for My yahoo homepage on my desktop?

I want to avoid the startup homepage that came with the upgrade.

Go to the page you want. Now drag the little icon that is just to the left of the URL entry box to the desktop. You may have to make the window smaller to do it.

you can put a shortcut anywhere. but why clutter up your desktop -- put it in your favorites/bookmarks instead.
