Can I put chlorine in a pool that has no filter/pump?

I'd like to put chlorine in my 10' diameter x 2' high galvanized swimming pool, but not sure if I should or not since the pool has no pump/filter. Do they sell pumps/filters for these types of pools? Can I put chlorine or some other type of sanitizer in it so that I don't have to empty the water every week?
