Of whatever is used on aquarium decorations. Even fish safe paint or something.

They are smoked bones. The dogs have cleaned all the tasty stuff off and i would scrub the snot out of them

  1. no u can because rocks that contain calcium in should not be put into aquariums because it will change the water chemistry (thats why you should always buy rocks from petshops not pick them up from the ground) and if you put a bone in it its doing the same thing because bone is made mostly out of calcium.

clear coat varnish or lacquar are both toxic to fish they are both made out of hazardous chemicals and will kill your fish.

the best option would be just to buy some sort of ornament that is as close as what you want

good luck and i hope this has helped you

  2. I am not sure about this...

You could put the bones in some aquarium water for 30 days and then test the water to see what the water properties are. (ph, nitrate and so on)

It still sounds a little risky, yet interesting.

I got to thinking about your silicone on these bones. If you can find an 'aquarium' clear silicone then this would probably be your best bet.
