Can I put custom pipes for my muffler system?

Question

I have a 1994 CHEVY make is a Cheyenne V6 4x4 4.3 liter

I need to put a exhaust system on it, what i was thinking is I could just buy the correct muffler then do the piping myself....

would it be cheaper to do the piping my self i have a very low budget. and i mean low so help me thanks

yes u can..if you are going to put the piping from the headers or catback and back u can just make sure u either weld it or if its bolt adjusted to make it right becuase u dont want any exhaust leaks..u might want a 2" or 21/2" inch..it would be fine..
