Can I put my ballet flats in the dryer?

I have these Jessica Simpson ballet flats and of

course like all ballet flats they smell, and I was

wondering do you think I could put them in the

dryer? The outside looks like it's made out of

leather but it's really just plastic. So do you

think it would melt or not be a good idea to

put them in the dryer? Thanks so much!

  1. Do you have a line or clothes rack you can hang them on? I'm not sure because I never had ballet flats, but can you hand wash them? If you do, in between washings you can use Febreze antimicrobial spray. You can air dry them outside if you have a patio or deck.

  2. I put my shoes to dry on top of my water heater to dry. For one thing, they would make a terrrible noise in the dryer. Just let them dry overnight.

  3. I wouldn't do it. loll.

You can either put fabric softerner or "order eaters" in them to reduce any smell though. :D That should work fine! Hope this helps!

  4. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

    they will shrink
