Can I put my new Termisil teapot directly on my glass electric stovetop? Mine didn't come with a candle.?

It has heat-resistant glass, and says hot tea, hot coffee, cold drink. It has the infuser, a lid and a wide flat bottom. It says "thermal and mechanical elevated resistance". It has symbols on the side, like snowflake for freezer, I guess, dishwasher (safe), microwave(safe) then a stove disk with a lightening arrow above it. Does that mean it's stovetop safe (electric)?

The symbol sounds more like it could be a shock hazard if placed on a normal element.  You shouldn't have the same problem with a glass stovetop.
