Can I put my short hair into a half-ponytail?

Question

I have hair that basically brushes my shoulders. It's dark brown and I have blunt bangs like Demi Lovato (basically the same color too).

Here's a picture of Yulia Volkova with basically the same thing I wanna do, and I look like her for the most part, so tell me if it would be a bad idea or not please.
