If not what do i do? DO I need to "unlock" it? Or get a phone that is unlocked? I want to keep all my numbers and my mobile number, but I want a different PAYG mobile

  1. Straight off an O2 SIM will not work in a Vodafone telephone.

Option one, have the vodafone or whatever network the phone is locked to unlocked. That will only cost a few quid.

Option two, buy a SIM free telephone. That is one that is not locked to any network and just slip in your O2 SIM card and your off. Doing this enables you to have a much better phone than is normally made  available as a pay and go phone by the networks but the best phones can cost a few hundred quid.

  2. yes you need to unlock it. they might have a unlocking shop in your local area. or just ask around when your in the shopping centre

  3. Just take your phone to get unlocked, about £10 or so.Or phone O2 and get pac code to take number to another network of your choice.

  4. Yes you will need to unlock it most probably
