Can I put my son in daycare in northridge, ca even though i live in arcadia, ca?

My son is 6 months old and I am going to go back to work.

I know for school, you can put him only in the school of the city you live in, which is Arcadia, CA. But are there any restrictions like that for daycare? Since I work in another city, can I put him in a daycare closer to where I work?

Anyone with experience in this area please reply.

Also, does anyone know the monthly fees for daycare in this area and which are some good daycares?

Preschools are different then with elementary schools, you don't have to enroll them in your home district.
