This is a domestic flight within the USA. I kind of have a lot of different vitamins and herbal supplements I take.

  1. yes.

  2. Medication in pill/tablet form is usually acceptable whether you carry on or check.  I always carry Advil's, Tylenol and vitamins in my purse without any problems.  If your vitamins look suspicious, they will stop you. You really never know what is going to look suspicious to them, but the vitamins are legal both ways.

  3. Yes

  4. Yes. I checked with my chiropractor who travels around the country giving seminars on nutrition. I know that he carries dozens of sample packs of various herbs and food supplements in small index card size zip top bags that he buys on the internet. He says that he carries them both in his checked luggage and carry on luggage and that he has never had a problem. TSA guidelines for food and drink items confirm this.
