Can I put outdoor roller skate wheels on my speed skates?

Basic 429 RTX quad skates. I don't know hardly anything about skates; can I put outdoor wheels on them and bring them outside? Thanks.

yes...but I disagree with one point the 1st person who answered your question.  I've never skated on anything but quads...roller blades make me fall down and spill my beer.

Yes... You can switch to outdoor wheels and skate outside in them. You should get the complete set - wheels and bearings for the outdoor use. Pulling bearings out of quad wheels is a pain, if you plan on switching back and forth. The outdoog bearing set will get more wear due to dust and exposure to other elements.

If you have a roller rink nearby, the pro shop should carry both wheels and bearings for your outdoor use. Most rink shops also do installation and repairs.

One caution...

Quad skates are not as terrain friendly as inline skates, so choose smooth cement, asphalt or court surfaces for your outdoor adventures.
