Sure can...but you should get more than 2,tetras like to be in schools..

You can totally put both of them in an aquarium, I would even get a couple of each species to make a community tank. You can even get different types of fish that are compatible with tetras.

they certainly can be put together. They're both South american tetras so there water conditions are identical. Good luck!
