Can I put regular water in my windshield wiper fluid dispenser?

Does it have to be distilled water?

i have only ever used normal tap water in all my vehicles. I do add a touch of window cleaning fluid too as an anti freeze and additional cleaning agent.

I dont think so... Besides windshild wiper fluid its only like a buck or two...

It's fine during the summer, but it mustn't freeze. You would normally use an additive to lower the freezing point of the water.

If it freezes, the rubber hoses will split, and the washers will stop working.

yes you can, it does not have to be distilled,  just make sure if its winter its empty so it dosen't freeze if you live in a cold weather area.

you can put hose water in there, but do not do it in the winter it will just freeze summer is fine, it will not clean as well..
