Can I put stuff in my locker early?

Question

A week before school starts i will go to my high, take my picture, see my locker and get my classes. do you think i can put binders in my locker before school starts or will the take the stuff out? I will go friday and school starts Aug. 2. should I put binders in so i dont have to carry alot or will they take stuff away?

I always put stuff in ahead of time, but your school might be different. Double check with your principal or secretary or something just to be sure.

At my shcool you can when you go in and see your locker and stuff. I think that that will be find but maybe check with the office staff first. If they say yes then go bring your stuff in (leave it in your car in case they say no). But hon, i would fix your question cause if school started Augest 2nd you wouldn't have just asked this question, so i think you mean september!

I'd say you probably shouldn't.

They /may/ check the lockers one more time.

There'd be no reason for them to check the lockers again after combinations have been passed out.  They figure that's what people are going to do and that's why you get your locker assignment on registration day.  Yes, go for it.  I always did that.

well every school is different, is that locker assigned to you already? if so i guess yeah, like when i was in high, every year you were assigned new lockers the first day of school and they changed the codes on the locks every year too

Yeah, is it like open house? I always put stuff in my locker at open house. They won't empty it. The school only goes through the lockers when school gets out, not when it opens again. You'll be fine, other kids do it too. If you're really that concerned hang a sign in the back of you locker saying not to touch it or whatever. :)

Usually you have to wait until the first day to put stuff in your lockers

and plus you dont want to chance your stuff being thrown out either

I would wait till your first day.  The only things you will need on your first day is something to write with and a notebook to take notes.  On your first day, just take a few extra notebooks in with you and store it in your locker.
