Can I put these fish together.?

Question

I have a 38 gallon and I'm getting 3-4 pictus catfish, 2-3 silver dollars, and 1 firemouth cichlid if I can. I know I can fit the pictus and silver dollars. I want to know if I can get the firemouth and if I can't tell me why and show me a website that says so

Silver dollars get huge.  They'll need at least 100 gallons all to themselves within a year or 2.

Look here.  The firemouths get to be over 6 inches.  Far too big for a 38 gallon.  Especially with the Silver Dollars who will also get big.

They're also aggressive.

They'll start biting at the other fish pretty quickly.

If you want big fish, you need a big tank.  With a 38, you need to stick with fish under 4 inches.  Look into Rainbow fish.  They're amazing.
