  1. No, it will got too cold and get pneumonia and die...plus it will have no affect

  2. Not really, since this is ineffective.

Get some small pebbles- BIGGER than the hamster- and wash them. Then put them in a freezer for a few hours, then stick them in the cage- that'll cool it down.

  3. you could let him sit on a piece of marble coutertop or something, keeps chinchillas cool... also a brick works

or place a towel over an ice pac and let it sit in its cage... or let him play with ice cubes

  4. I wouldnt advise you do that unless you are going to dry the hamster off seconds later. Do what i did. Go to the dollar store and pick up a few mini fans that run on batteries. Put them in with your hamster and supervize him or her with the fans. Great for hamsters during the summer!!! :)

  5. OK, if you want to cool down your hamster, take a wet paper towel and make sure you wring it out really good. Now, wipe off his back (GENTLY) and then take a dry paper towel and dry him off.

  6. no, hamsters shouldt get wet unless if an EMERGENCY.  If your hamster is getting hot get a mini fan thats portable and hold it above him/her until you see him/her walking or trying to get away from it. Try to get one thats NOT noisy and that wont scare him/her. Also you can also get a bigger one to put by his/her cage. If you do, do this DO NOT keep it on for more that 15 minutes!

    HOPE THIS HELPS,
