Question:

Can I "Override" the 2 TV Limit From Telus TV?

Hi all,

I have 5 TVs in my house, but Telus has limits towards how much TVs you can have using their service. I recently switched to Telus because I wanted HD channels, but kept my Shaw cable for my other TVs. Is there any way I can use 5 TVs with one Telus TV subscription? (I don't see why, because I only have one HDTV and standard definition doesn't need a lot of bandwidth.)

  1. Okay you can have 5 tv's connected to one service provider but your going to have to use single and triple cable connectors, and at least 4-5 cable lines the length of the cable lines depends on how far your tv's are if ones upstairs, and the other ones downstairs your gunna need one long cable or you can drill a hole through the floor in the corner but yes, you connect the main cable to your telus box, then triple split that to 2 tv's then the third one triple split it again, and connect it to the other 2 then the last open cable single split that and connect it to your 5th tv, oh fyi watch out for when the cable guy comes over casue its illegal to put 5 tv's on one box.
