I got my home theater system from play.com:

(the link is really just to show you everything about it)

I was just wondering if it's possible, because I have everything else attached to it! So having my PC using it would just be all the more awesome.

  1. Yeah, most probably.  Depends on your PC though.  Usually PC's have an audio output, however, they usually don't play true surround sound unless you're using a VGA cable, which most receivers don't have.

You may have to resort to using a Mini Stereo to RCA cable.  This will plug into your PC's sound or headphone jack, and will then convert the signal to RCA, which can be plugged into your receiver.

  2. check this out man,,,i have your solution...if you have a headphone jack on your desktop then you can buy a pair of quarter inch plug (headphone jack) that splits into rca cables...depending on of your home theater has a auxillary input or just a audio in..that should work fine...lemmie know if that works for you or not
