This is the story:

I have a youtube account, and I get alot of hate mail and comments for many reasons. Some band I hate even started to make videos about me, and one guy who made plenty of hate videos about me 5 months ago is now statring to give me more hate mail. I heard from a freind you can press charges or get them prosocuted. I don't think you can, but I want to make sure.

  1. It depends where you live. That's a new law that's being pass in some counties/cities.

But i can help you bully them back, :]

  2. yeh u can sum poilice chick came 2 our skool once and gave us a lecture on cyber bullying on how people can press charges if the bullying is bad enough.

  3. you must of done something bad to make them start cyber bullying you. thats your own fault. noone just starts cyber bully someone for no reason.maybe you deserved it i dont know i dont know your side of the story. if you do press charged they would need to know both sides of stories and if you're the one that kinda started it you're **** out of luck

  4. yes you can report to youtube the video click "report"

also write to youtube's customer service and ask for them to expell or at least suspend this person's/people's account(s)

  5. Your friend may be right. In many states, they have added cyber harassment to their harassment laws and charges. You need to be saving all the emails with dates and times as well as making copies of any videos etc made about you. The more you have the better case you have. Hope this helps, good luck.

  6. i know some states are passing laws, but most of them are still being passed in most cases if there not threatening you then you have case, just stay off youtube fixes the problem

  7. you can but will cost you loads of lawyer fees
