  2. Yes, unless you can show you were going to school while you had the job that you just lost.  In that case the reasoning is that you must really be looking for a job since going to school did not deter you from working in the past.

  3. ask your unemployment counselor for specifics.  you are often entitled to training.

  4. I live in Michigan, and was allowed to (I had to have my professors sign a form that I did attend class).  You should check with the unemployment agency out there in CA about it.

  5. It can but if your already in school it wont!

  6. Well, to answer that question, first you must answer the question, if you had a job in the first place?

If you didn't... then probably not.  That's not to say you can't recieve money... but it definately won't be called "unemployment."

As for recieving cash benefits, that answer is up to your local social worker.

  7. Yes im doing that now, in fact they are sening me and paying.

  8. yes you can. UI is compensation in which you have paid in....may affect financial aid, but you can still go. IT IS NOT WELFARE.

  9. The idea behind Unemployment Insurance is that you ARE AVAILABLE for work. If you're attending classes...or found to be attending classes....without permission....you may be in big trouble.

  10. Not legally. The jerks that run this place (gov) make it as hard as they can for students without making it obvious. Keep them dumb, fat and lazy and under control. It's the America way.

  11. no your a hopeless case

  12. No you cannot recieve unemployment and go to school
